Fabricate One Year Anniversary and Grand Reopening

On Saturday, November 13th from 7-11 p.m., Fabricate features the opening reception for
Microcosm. Microcosm is a group art show comprised of some of our favorite artists from this
past year, new artists who we will be showcasing in the coming year and others that we admire.
We will also be celebrating our One Year Anniversary and Grand Reopening at our new location at 4037 Hamilton Avenue. We have exciting new things on the horizon here at Fabricate! Fabricate’s one-year anniversary is coming up the second Saturday in November! It’s hard to believe we’ve been open almost a year now and somehow pulled off twelve art openings already. It’s been such an awesome year and we have all of you to thank for making it possible. Without all of the lovely things our artists have created and all the customer patronage in choosing to support local artists, we wouldn’t be here. Thank you so very much for putting us on the map with all of your shopping, word of mouth and online sharing of our events and facebook page.

We’d ultimately always wanted our own place; however, when we’d first opened last year there was just nothing available that was exactly quite right along Hamilton Avenue, so we decided to share space with our friends at Red Polly for the first year. We very much enjoyed our time there, but it is time to move on to a place that is more suitable for supporting our future goals and has a greater retail presence.

The new location is right between Take the Cake and Shop Therapy, with Cluxton Alley Coffee
Roasters and their lovely outdoor patio right behind us. This space is going to be so much better because there will be a lot more visibility and retail traffic at that end of the street. We will also have our own front door and lighted window fronts to display merchandise to the customers. Not to mention, all the perks of being able to pick up a fabulous cup of coffee or lunch/brunch right next door and having their patrons come by to browse our space after.
Thank you so much for supporting us! We plan to continue offering you a lot more quality,
locally handmade and upcycled goods along with introducing you to a bevy of amazing new
artists in the future.
We welcome you to join us for the new art show accompanied by PROJECTMILL DJ’s
and potable beverages. After the show we will be heading down to Mayday to continue our celebration!
