PROJECTMILL Presents: Origin Story

The diverse members of the Projectmill creative collective are combining their superpowers for a new show this month at Fabricate. Best known for the popular dance night DANCE_MF, this collective is full of graphic designers, musicians, writers, painters and filmmakers, and this is the first time their wide range of works will be displayed in one place.

The show, titled ORIGIN STORY, opens Saturday, July 14 with an opening reception from 6pm to 10pm. Pieces will track each member’s metamorphosis as an artist through a range of lenses – including painting, writing and more– culminating in their joining Projectmill.

Members include:
Fabricate co-owner Chris Salley Davis, a painter whose work can be seen around town
Acclaimed artist Julie Hill
Ben Davis, songwriter and lead singer for Bad Veins
Designer and videographer Joshua Mattie
MaryKate Moran, a writer and member of Untethered Theater and the Clifton Players
Endlessly busy event planner Kenneth Wright
Photographer, DJ and jack-of-all-trades Matthew Luken
Logophile Corrie Loeffler
Lauren Koch, graduate of the DAAP fashion program
DJ extraordinaire William Rich

Please join us for a tasty beverage and then stroll around Northside during Northside Second Saturdays, a night of new art openings, later retail and restaurant hours, promotional specials and longer happy hours in one of Cincinnati’s most diverse neighborhoods.
