About

Aileen McGrath and Chris Salley are the co-owners of this store and gallery hybrid in Northside where artists, crafters and designers can be inspired, supplied and showcased.

Fabricate’s original location was within Red Polly on Hamilton Avenue in Northside, but after one year they moved up the street to the current location right next to Shop Therapy, Cluxton Alley Coffee Roasters, and Take the Cake.

A partnership that started kinda on the fly after both ladies realized they were crossing paths looking at the same open spaces for rent along Hamilton Avenue, was cinched up over Cactus Pear margaritas and the two have been in a frenetic hustle in the couple months since to get their vision up and running.

In addition to art work, Fabricate has all sorts of handmade goods from local indie crafters. Things like scarves, jewelry, cards, accessories, pillows, curtains, unique artist t-shirt lines and eventually bigger creations like furniture and lighting.

Fabricate is a comfortable gallery/boutique with variety that looks to blur the line between high art and craft and provide events and fun along the way.
